The Things I CarryThe things I carry generally depend on the seasons of the year. One thing that manages to stay however, are the worries, anxiety, and stress that cloud my better judgment. It is the nastiest thing I carry, almost as bad as the plague. The Things I Carry by ~Char739
In autumn, anxieties such as if my teachers will like me or not, or if the classes will become too difficult for me. Yet, during autumn, hopes and joys shine through, like the excitement of being able to see my friends again after so long. With a heavy backpack full of binders and the smell of new pens, I trek further into the year.
As autumn turns to winter, I begin to develop one sort of difficulty or another with my day to day life. Classes like math and science become more stressful as the year progresses. Chemistry is not as manageable as Biology, for certain reactions could only occur on the third Wednesday in October under a glowing blue moon. My mind becomes clouded and muddied with information dumps, with no index to sort said dat
Hello again everyone, I'm just here to update about what has been going on in my life thus far. Take a peek if you're interested
So school work is definitely been getting hectic. I also was invited to take a college AP course with 5 other kids, which is Psychology. It's fun and interesting, but sometimes the website acts up so I'm always worried that my grades will suddenly plummet and I'll fail. The rise of the machines is quite a fearful future I must say. Putting banks online is just asking for trouble I'd say.
In art related news, I'm in the middle of three school art projects. The first one is a portrait of Hellboy that I started over the summer that I'm finally starting to put colored pencil on now. The other two are still works in progress. The second one is carving a bar of soap with designs, and then taking a picture of one section of it, and then drawing that section with more movement for the finished product. And the last one is a horror themed piece that has each letter of the word "HORROR" designed like each serial killer in the scary movies, Pinhead, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Ghostface, Michael Myers, and then Chucky (In that order). Each letter doesn't necessarily have to include the likeness of the character, but when you look at it you have to be able to figure out which character is which. I only have the outline for Jason's letter finished, and I just need 5 more letters to go. I've already drawn out the rough drafts for each of them, now I just have to figure out how to draw them to fit in the area I've planned out for each of them.
As for my series Serial Remains, it has finally gotten itself off the ground again. I've found it easier to write rough drafts of each episode before actually sitting down to write them, so it won't be as difficult to delete or add new things like it was before. I am committed to the project, but at the point where it is at right now, I can tell you that it has a bit of a ways to go before actually coming close to something finished. I've wanted to make samples of what it might look like, but then I'll be hounded every day as to why I'm not uploading more videos and such when I'm far from completing anything on the finished project. Once I start making finished character designs, I'll be posting them here. Right now, my characters are in doodle hell. No proportions, and notes everywhere. Yeesh.
I guess that's all I can come up with at the moment. Other then I have a short story that's residing in writer's block Hell as well. That thing's going to go through plenty of re-writes before I even consider posting it here.
So I'll hope to hear from you all soon. As always, if you wish to see and hear of me more frequently, subscribe to my YouTube, which is the home of Creepypasta readings, any future short comics I'll do, Vlogs, and the eventual home of Serial Remains. www.youtube.com/user/TheOnlyCh… Thanks for reading, I always appreciate it
