Hellboy

This is an Oil Painting that I worked on for the art show. This was the last one I finished for it, and it took me about a week and a half nonstop to paint it, and a week before that to draw it. I'm not as happy with this piece because I had to rush it, but all in all I'd say I did pretty good.

This was a fun piece to work on, especially getting to do his muscles and face. Ron Pearlman gives Hellboy such a distinct look that it was very difficult for me to get it right. I had to make sure that his face didn't look too weird but at the same time make it distinct enough so that it is obvious that it is Ron Pearlman under that makeup. I'll have to practice more anatomy so that my artworks will improve in the future. C:
