Such a brooding title. Well, at least it is more original then calling it "Masky." >.>

So after drawing Smexy Meets the Proxies, I had the sudden urge to draw Masky again. So during my art class I happened to find a mask similar to Masky's and had my friend Lovetillidie model for me and tilt her head down so I could figure out the angle his face would be. It still isn't the best looking, but I tried my best proportion-wise and making him looked like he's hunched over in thought. I think I'm actually improving. Huzzah~!

This was also my first true endeavor in the use of GIMP besides using it to make my watermarks. I decided I was going to try to put Masky in front of a background (Stock image of course) and get rid of his plain white background that was there when I scanned the picture in. After an hour of frustration, I figured it out! The edges are a bit messier than I wanted, but it is pretty good for my first real go at GIMP. The next step would be practicing coloring and stuff with an image of mine that I completed just before this one. If all is successful, I'll be greatly considering digital coloring for my Serial Remains web/video comic.
